The Congress of Milk Producers and Processors discussed the current state of the industry

The Russian Union of Dairy Enterprises held the 23rd Russian Congress of Milk Producers and Processors within the conference programme of Prodexpo 2025.

The congress participants discussed the results and performance of the dairy industry in 2024, the current situation, issues of state support, new legislation, and many other topics.

Lyudmila Manitskaya, Chair at the Council of the Russian Union of Dairy Enterprises, moderated the event. Sergey Dankvert, Head at the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, welcomed the audience via video link.

Vladimir Kashin, Chair at of the Russian State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, made a report on the current situation in the industry. He announced preliminary results of the industry's work in 2024 and spoke in detail about problems and trends, including personnel and legislative issues.

Presentations were made by Sergey Lisovsky, Deputy Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Competition Protection, Yegor Borisov, Deputy Chair at the Russian Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Nature Management, Ekaterina Priezzheva, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Petr Chekmarev, Chair at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Committee on Agroindustrial Complex Development and Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and representatives of relevant companies and organisations.

The Annual General Meeting of the Russian Union of Dairy Enterprises took place after the congress.
