Meeting of food producers from the Moscow and Vologda regions at Prodexpo 2024
Direct negotiations between food industry enterprises of the Moscow and Vologda regions took place at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds on the sidelines of the Prodexpo 2024 exhibition. The meeting was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO, the Vologda Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Moscow Region.
On behalf of EXPOCENTRE, First Deputy General Director Sergey Selivanov welcomed the participants, “We are pleased with the initiative of the Vologda Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry to hold this meeting at our venue”. He expressed confidence that the negotiations at the meeting would be as successful as the Prodexpo 2024 exhibition, which, according to him, once again broke records in terms of scale and number of participants and visitors.
“I think we will find areas of common interest and we can be useful to each other,” Yury Umerenko, First Deputy Governor of the Vologda Oblast, said before the start of the meeting.
For his part, Denis Frantsuzov, President of the Moscow Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also noted the importance of interregional ties. The interests of regional business, he emphasised, always go beyond the boundaries of the region. Interaction both at the level of regional leadership and chambers of commerce and industry aimed at business development always carries mutually beneficial interests. In his opinion, this is especially important today, when the food and processing industry is experiencing growth with results for the economy of the territories.
Representatives of both large and small enterprises, as well as retail chains attended the negotiations.
